A pair of early Georgian silver wedding spoons, these spoons would be given as a wedding gift with the name of the the bride and groom and wedding date engraved on the back of bowl.  1756 Antique Solid Silver Large Seal Top Spoon with gold gilded finish London 1756. The bowl is lightly hand planished with a single drop from the terminal. Made 250 years ago by the very important London silversmith Ebenezer Coker. A rare and beautiful period pair Seal Top Spoons. Very Good condition, no damage wear or repair, Light surface marks, and normal wear to gold gilding due to age. Size 19cm. Weight 1.9 oz. each spoon.  Ebenezer Coker 1714 - 1783 was a very important silversmith. A rare and beautiful large seal top spoon wedding set - truly magnificent. We can engrave these spoons.
