Silver Trophy 1904

Antique Huge spectacular Solid Silver Hallmarked Two Handled Trophy Cup & Cover. Trophy featuring an impressive ornate chased and engraved design.  The body of the Trophy has ornate chased foliate design, with masks and swirling leaves and flowers decorating the front. There is space for engraving in the centre and the back of the trophy has a large space of further engraving if desired. This Trophy is truly spectacular and would make an impressive statement as a prize. This trophy has been fully restored to near new condition and has a full set of hallmarks. Made in Birmingham Date - 1904. Made by the renowned silversmiths Jones and Crompton. Supplied with orginal wood plinth. A cup of this quality would cost well in excess of £25,000.00 today Size:  Width 15 inches acrross handle Height 21 inches  Weight a very heavy 2335 grams or  82.3 ounces of silver.
Expertly restored by us to as near new as we could possibly achieve whilst retaining all of its original appeal, a rare and very beautiful piece of late Victorian silver, made by distinguished Jones & Crompton of Birmingham.
