Solid Silver Antique three Piece Christening Set Hallmarked Sheffield 1928, made by the prestigious Silversmiths Mappin and Webb. A child's cutlery set of heavy gauge silver and of the very finest quality. The egg cup and napkin ring have a gadroon border, the spoon is of Old English Design the egg cup is Gold Gilded inside. Supplied in the original presentation box, the box is in good condition for its 94 years. Dimensions: Spoon: 13cm Long weight 26 grams napkin ring: Size 40 x 22 weight 34 grams Egg Cup: 4.8cm. Diameter, height 6cm.Weight: 40grams. A set of this quality would cost in well in excess of £700.00 today.
