This Antique solid silver hallmarked Napkin Ring was made by the renowned Wm. Hutton of London in 1898 and restored by Edinburgh Silver in 2019
Photograph one shows the condition we receive silver Napkin rings in. We usually but these from auction. This one is in poor condition and very tarnished. This is what happens when a piece of silver is left in a drawer for about one hundred years.
The Restoration process
Photograph two shows the napkin ring after we have removed the decades of grease and the worst of the tarnish. However still a long way to go.

Photograph three shows most of the years of tarnish is almost gone Then our secret formula has been applied to remove the blemishes and scratches from the silver oxidisation. Starting to look good.
Photograph four shows the napkin ring after our industrial ultrasound treatment. The ring is now very clean and free from all grease and tarnish. So it is nearly there.
Photograph five shows the napkin ring after the final traditional polishing is complete. It looks as if it was made last Thursday not over one hundred years ago.
