Description
Outstanding pair of solid silver spoons made by Omar Ramsden hallmarked London 1928. The spoons are supplied in original wood and silk material lined box with 'Omar Ramsden, Artist Goldsmith, London, England' to the inside of the lid. Both spoons have superb tear-drop bowls with gently spot hammered finish. The first spoon has a lovely long straight stem with leaves below the finial and a superb chased fruit finial. The second spoon has a six sided tapering stem with superb chased leaves and flowers to the handle and a figural flower finial. The spoons are 6-1/4 inches / 160 mm long and 1-1/2 inches / 38 mm wide across the bowls. They are heavy weighing 133 grams. The spoons are both in excellent time warp condition.
