This exceptional antique solid silver hunting set comprises six rare toddy cups, each crafted in the form of a miniature tankard with a richly gold-gilded interior. Hallmarked Birmingham 1911 and made by the highly regarded silversmiths ES Barnsley, this is a remarkable survival in its original fitted case.

Each cup is finely proportioned, measuring just 4 cm high x 3 cm diameter, and weighing a substantial 30 grams – giving a combined set weight of 180 grams of solid silver. Sets of this kind are rare; to find all six cups together, complete with their original case, is even more unusual.
