Solid Silver very large Hallmarked Anointing Spoon . A beautiful Fully Gold Gilded Anointing spoon, made by the prestigious silversmiths Shiptons. Hallmarked Chester 1952 with Royal Coronation mark. Supplied in the original presentation box. Size: 24.5cm. Weight a hefty 92 grams. This is a true replica of the Royal Anointing spoon first recorded in 1349, as preserved among St Edwards regalia in Westminster abbey. Plaque Engraving inside box- 54 characters free.
