This striking vintage sterling silver kilt pin was crafted in Glasgow 1959 by the respected silversmith Robert Allison (RA). Designed in the shape of a Halberd (axe and spear) – an ancient Highland weapon – it reflects the strong influence of Celtic and Scottish design from the early 20th century, inspired by the work of Alexander Ritchie of Iona during the 1920s and 1930s.
